The Seniors have been participating in a variety of activities to express their gratitude. They created their own unique turkey handprint and represented their thankfulness in their drawings using their expressive language to dictate what they were thankful for in their lives. After reading The Thankful Rock by Mercer Mayer, the children used a variety of materials to create their own “Thankful Rock” to be a tangible reminder of the special people and things in their lives.
